Senior Business Development Manager

An innovative building solutions business is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with proven construction industry/contracting experience and success to spearhead their growth within the construction framework sector, specifically with large property asset holders and tier 1-2 framework contractors in the social housing, large scale property asset owners and care home sectors.The successful candidate will play an active role in leading the development of the companys sales strategy by building strong new customer relationships. This is a Sales Director Designate position and it is expected the successful candidate will attain the position of Sales Directors role in 18 months and take a seat on the Companys Senior Management Team Board.As Sales Director the candidate will be responsible for building a high performing sales team to drive further new business growth. The role is national but the ideal candidate will be based within 1 hours drive of Worcester (office based 2 days per week).The candidate is likely to have a higher qualification and several years experience in sales. They will have experience in tendering and estimating including multimillion pound contracts and dealing with Tier 1 and 2 contractors.The position is paying£70,000 - £80,000 as SBDM, rising to £100,000 as Sales Director, with a possible bonus of 25% base salary, fully expensed car or car allowance (plus life insurance pension and PMI after qualifying).
