HGV Class 2 Driver – HalesowenPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Halesowen , West Midlands .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role would suit applicants who have worked in roles such as LGV Class 1 Driver , CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .Shifts• Sunday to Thursday• 19:00 start timesRates of Pay• £16.00 per hour (basic)Benefits• Weekly pay• Immediate starts• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties• Completing trunking (1 drop) to the Newport depot, with occasional return stock• Assisting with shunting vehicles for the remainder of the shift• Operating and driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when requiredEssential Skills• Valid UK Category C driving licence• Minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category C vehicles• Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)• Good spoken and written English• Punctual with excellent time-keeping• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations• Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experienceTraining• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughoutApplyIf you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
