These projects consist of New Builds and Refurbishments, primarily in the residential and commercial sectors, carried out on a Design & Build basis.The Contracts Manager RoleReporting to the Managing Director they are looking for two Contracts Manager who will strengthen the contracts team and manage the implementation and delivery of a wide variety of projects. Typical projects are new build Care Home projects valued from approximately £7m to £12m, based across the North West Region.Key Roles & Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager role include:Build good relationships with the client and project team.Ensure all aspects of the fit-out process are satisfactorily completed on time and within cost and to the highest possible standards.Be able to carry out perfect delivery and produce snag free jobs.Must be able to run at least two contracts at one time varying in values from £3m to £8m.Liaison with construction teams and landlords and clients.Design control and coordination directly liaise with designers.Coordinate contractors / design against spec and costs.Clear understanding of standard work practices / relevant BS standards and codes.The Contracts Manager:Previous large scale commercial or residential project related experience, as per the values described above.Ability to travel and understand the level of dedication needed to support the teamAble to demonstrate real examples of strong customer facing skillsClient focus and positive attitudeAble to manage multiple platform schemes nationallyAbility to make robust and structured decisions under pressureAbility to fully interpret Architect drawings and implement build ability solutions on the spotA key contributor to the team and high motivatorCommercially aware to ensure business needs and clients alignProgramming experience (Microsoft / Asta)Computer literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookTPBN1_UKTJ
