This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building positive relationships and making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement and social development. You will play a key role in helping students access education, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.Key responsibilities include:Supporting students with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basisBuilding strong, trusting relationships with young peoplePromoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingAssisting teachers in delivering engaging learning activitiesSupporting students during challenging situations and helping them regulate emotions effectivelyActing as a positive role model and mentor throughout the school dayContributing to behaviour support strategies and pastoral interventionsAbout the School This specialist setting provides education for students who require additional support with social, emotional and mental health needs.
