Are you an experienced Production Planner, Senior Planner or Supply Chain Planner with a background in manufacturing?Do you enjoy balancing production schedules, material availability and customer demand to keep operations running efficiently?We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in Hampshire who are looking to recruit a Senior Planner to join their Planning team.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in coordinating production planning activities across multiple manufacturing departments while working closely with Operations, Procurement and Sales to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.What's the role all about?As a Senior Planner , you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules across several manufacturing areas, ensuring capacity, materials and resources are aligned to meet customer demand.You'll work closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Sales to proactively identify potential issues, minimise delays and drive improvements in planning performance.This is a fast-paced role where strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.Key responsibilitiesCreate and maintain production schedules across multiple manufacturing departmentsBalance production capacity, material availability and customer demandMonitor production performance and identify potential constraintsWork closely with Procurement to ensure materials are available when requiredCoordinate subcontractor activity and delivery schedules where requiredManage production orders through the ERP/MRP systemReview late orders and proactively resolve planning issuesLiaise with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics and Sales teamsAnalyse planning data and identify opportunities to improve efficiencyDrive continuous improvement across production planning processesEnsure ERP data remains accurate and up to dateSupport inventory optimisation while maintaining customer delivery performanceWhat you'll needTo succeed in this role, you'll bring:Previous experience in a Senior Planner, Production Planner or Supply Chain Planning roleExperience within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong knowledge of MRP/ERP systemsExcellent understanding of production scheduling and capacity planningStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesGood Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to prioritise multiple projects within a fast-paced environmentDesirableExperience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systemsExposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous ImprovementExperience coordinating subcontract manufacturingAPICS or Supply Chain qualificationsAbout youYou're an organised and proactive planner who enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges while ensuring production runs smoothly.You'll be:Highly organised and analyticalCommercially awareDetail-focusedA confident communicatorComfortable working across multiple departmentsPassionate about improving processes and delivering excellent customer serviceSalary & BenefitsUp to £55,000 per annumCompany pensionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeRetail and lifestyle discountsLong service awardsTraining and career developmentFree onsite parkingInterested?If you're an experienced Senior Planner, Production Planner or Supply Chain Planner looking for your next challenge within manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.Kingdom People are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
