With ambitious plans to grow the service department over the coming years, it's an excellent time to join and become part of that journey.As a Field Service Engineer , you'll play a key role in supporting customers across your region while helping build a rapidly expanding service team.Why JoinGrowing Service Division – Join at an exciting time as the business expands its field service and workshop operations.Excellent Training & Development –Manufacturer product trainingIndustry-recognised qualificationsOpportunities to study right through to degree levelCareer Progression – As the service department grows, opportunities will become available for:Service ManagerWorkshop ManagerLead Service EngineerSupportive Team Culture – A close-knit team that values collaboration, learning and long-term development.Autonomous Working – Manage your own workload while receiving full support from an experienced management team.Salary & BenefitsSalary – £35,000–£45,000+ (depending on experience)Bonus – £3,000–£5,000 annual bonusHours – 39-hour working weekCompany VanMobile PhoneOvertime –1.5x Monday–Saturday2x Sundays5–10 hours of overtime available per week as a minimumHome-Based Role95% of the time you will be home after workThe Role – Field Service EngineerWorking as a Field Service Engineer , you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdown repairs and overhauls on industrial pumping equipment at customer sites and within the workshop.Key responsibilities include:Attending customer sites across a 50-mile radius of WarringtonDiagnosing and repairing pump breakdownsMechanical strip-downs and rebuildsBasic electrical work, mainly wiring pumpsWorking independently while providing excellent customer serviceSupporting workshop overhauls when requiredThe role is predominantly mechanical, with around 90% of work focused on reactive breakdowns , making it ideal for someone who enjoys fault finding and solving problems on-site.What They're Looking ForThe ideal Field Service Engineer will have:Hands-on experience working with industrial pumpsMechanical strip-down and rebuild skillsBasic electrical knowledge, including pump wiringA proactive attitude and the ability to work independentlyA willingness to learn and develop through ongoing trainingThe business is happy to consider experienced engineers, maintenance engineers with pump exposure, or even recently qualified apprentices who have gained practical experience working on pumps.If you're a mechanically minded Field Service Engineer who enjoys working autonomously, solving technical problems and developing your skills within a growing engineering business, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company with ambitious expansion plans and genuine opportunities for future progression.If you are interested in this position, please apply or contact Faisal at or call Faisal on.ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
