Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant - Southampton Prospero Teaching is recruiting a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the Southampton area. This role involves working with children and young people who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes. Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through small‑group interventions, depending on the needs of individual pupils. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
