Job Description
My client is a successful Independent Financial Advice Practice with offices throughout East Anglia with over a billion, funds under management.
\nMy clients are a sizeable group with over seventy employees but remain a small and personable collective of likeminded professionals who really care about the clients they service.
\nI am currently looking to recruit an experienced IFA Administrator to join their well-established Colchester Office.
\nPurpose of the role
\nTo undertake client related administration, review work, reporting and implementation, in order to assist Independent Financial Advisers in the provision of independent financial services to clients.
\nTo undertake the required number of chargeable hours for the department.
\nTo complete tasks in an efficient and timely fashion.
\nKnowledge and experience
\nIt is desired that Administrators have, or aim to achieve, the Certificate in Financial Services. This demonstrates the basic levels of technical knowledge which is required in order to undertake the job.
\nA good understanding of Microsoft Office, and other industry technical software packages, e.g. Curo.
\nGood organisational and planning skills and to be able to keep a time record of work undertaken on behalf of clients.
\nUnderstand the advice process and the need for a commercial relationship with clients.
\nStrong communication skills and excellent analytical skills.
\nGood team player with a flexible approach.
\nKey responsibilities
\nMaintenance of client and portfolio records.
\nPreparation of client files for annual or half yearly reviews.
\nProcess client new business and general client administration as required.
\nCommunicate with clients on case progress
\nPreparing necessary paperwork and application forms for client meetings
\nManaging WIP and invoicing.
\nCommunicate with product providers on case progress compliance issue and record keeping.
\nSalary
\nUp to £35,000.00, this is dependent on experience and qualifications.
