Class 1 Night Driver

Location: Southampton & Surrounding Areas
Pay: From £18.00 per hour
Shifts: Regular Night Shifts Available
Contract: Ongoing Temporary & Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

TLP Recruitment Southampton are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to support a number of well-established transport and logistics clients across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for trunking, RDC work, container movements or general haulage, we have a variety of ongoing night driving opportunities to suit experienced Class 1 drivers.

Depending on the client, duties may include:

• Depot-to-depot trunking
\n
• RDC deliveries and collections
\n
• General haulage
\n
• Container movements
\n
• Refrigerated transport
\n
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
\n
• Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
\n
• Delivering freight safely, professionally and on time
\n

\n
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
\n
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
\n
• Container or dock experience advantageous for some assignments
\n
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and tachograph legislation
\n
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
\n
• Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
\n

• Pay from £18.00 per hour
