Head of Fire Safety – London (multi-site)

We're delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Higher Education organisation to recruit an experienced Head of Fire Safety.

Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, you'll lead the fire safety function across a large, complex estate, providing strategic leadership, technical expertise and ensuring compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation.

About the Role

You'll lead the Fire Safety Management System and Fire Strategy, oversee the fire risk assessment programme, provide expert advice to senior stakeholders, support major capital projects and manage relationships with enforcing authorities while leading and developing the fire safety team.

About You

• Experience leading fire safety across a large, complex or multi-site estate.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act.
\n
• Experience managing fire risk assessment programmes and providing strategic fire safety advice.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
\n
• A recognised fire safety qualification and relevant professional membership (or equivalent experience).
\n
• Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing technical teams.
\n
