\nSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 + overtime + benefits Shift Pattern: Rotating shift pattern Commutable from: Wisbech, King's Lynn, Peterborough, Spalding, March\n
\nOur client is a well-established, large-scale food manufacturing business supplying major retailers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Shift Engineer to their engineering team.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of high-speed production and processing equipment\n
\nRespond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency\n
\nWork closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement\n
\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with food safety standards\n
\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activity\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\nA recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent apprenticeship)\n
\nMulti-skilled engineering background, electrical bias preferred but not essential\n
\nExperience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similarly fast-paced production environment\n
\nWillingness to work a rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights\n
\nA proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills\n
