We're looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join a busy installation team delivering high-quality domestic and social housing solar PV installations across Swindon and the surrounding areas.

\n

With consistent work available and excellent day rates, this is a fantastic opportunity for skilled electricians looking for long-term renewable energy projects. Day rates of £350£500 are in line with current subcontract opportunities in the sector.

What You'll Be Doing\n

\n
• Installing domestic Solar PV systems
\n
• Installing and commissioning battery storage systems
\n
• AC & DC electrical connections
\n
• Inverter installation and commissioning
\n
• Consumer unit upgrades where required
\n
• Testing and inspection of completed installations
\n
• Fault finding and rectification
\n
• Completing installations in accordance with BS7671 and MCS standards
\n
• Working closely with roofing and installation teams
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
\n
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
\n
• Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred)
\n
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
\n
• Previous Solar PV installation experience
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence
\n
• Own tools and transport
\n

Desirable\n

\n
• Solar PV Qualification (City & Guilds / BPEC)
\n
• Battery storage installation experience
\n
• MCS experience
\n
• G98/G99 commissioning knowledge
\n
• Experience working on domestic renewable energy projects
\n
