Copy Shop Assistant - MOR12036
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join a small team responsible for delivering high-quality Copy Shop services, including digital print finishing and photocopying, in support of the Council’s operations.
\nThe role is based in a combined office and workshop environment, which can occasionally be noisy and warm due to the nature of the equipment and activities involved. However, air conditioning is provided in the areas most affected by heat, and ceiling ventilation is installed throughout the workspace to ensure a comfortable working environment.
\nRequirements\n
Support the delivery of a high-quality Copy Shop service, offering corporate digital printing, finishing, and photocopying solutions.
\nOperate industrial and office-based equipment to provide professional print finishing services.
\nFacilitate internal mailing services across all Council departments.
\nMaintain and provide first-line support for Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) located at Headquarters in Elgin and surrounding satellite offices.
\nParticipate in relevant training and development activities to enhance skills and service delivery.
\nAdhere to Health and Safety legislation, as well as Council policies and procurement procedures.
\nEngage in the Council’s Employee Review and Development programme to support continuous improvement.
\nProvide assistance in the Mailroom and Reception areas as required.

Experience in the use of Microsoft office packages, including Excel
\n2 SQA standard grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including Maths
\nFlexible attitude
\nAbility to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
\nGood Keyboard skills
\nHigh level of accuracy in work

\nStrong customer care skills and focus
