Van Delivery Driver – SwindonPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Delivery Driver to join our national client based in Swindon.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for progression within a well-established business.Working as part of a busy distribution team, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring excellent customer service throughout your working day.This role would suit candidates with experience as a Multi-Drop Driver , Courier Driver or Delivery Driver.Rates of Pay:£14.25 per hourOvertime after 40 hours paid at £21.38 per hourShift Pattern:As a Van Delivery Driver , you will work:Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays07:45 to 17:15Benefits:Your benefits as a Van Delivery Driver are:Ongoing workWeekly payTraining providedImmediate starts availableEmployee wellbeing programmeOpportunities for progression within a well-established businessDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver are:Completing multi-drop deliveries, typically 40 to 50 drops per dayLoading and unloading vehiclesDelivering parcels to clients and customersCollecting parcels from local customersEnsuring all loads are safe and secure during transportationCompleting vehicle inspections and reporting any faults or defectsMaintaining accurate delivery records and paperworkCommunicating effectively with customers and staff at delivery locationsEssential Skills:To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver , you will need:Previous multi-drop delivery experienceA valid UK Category B Driving LicenceStrong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulationsEffective written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to identify and report vehicle safety issuesA good understanding of road networks and navigation toolsThe ability to work to tight deadlines and use your own initiativeA willingness to undergo a DBS checkDesirable Experience:To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver , it would be beneficial if you have:Previous experience driving commercial vehiclesExperience completing high-volume multi-drop deliveriesExperience using handheld scanners or delivery tracking systemsTraining:As a Van Delivery Driver , you will receive:Industry-related trainingOngoing support and development throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Van Delivery Driver , apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
