Fabric TechnicianTottenham, North London£40,000 – £45,000 per annumAbout the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician to join a leading building services maintenance company, working on a prestigious commercial contract based in Tottenham.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established organisation offering long-term career progression, ongoing training, and excellent overtime opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Carry out a wide range of fabric maintenance duties, including:Carpentry and joinery repairsPainting and decoratingReplacing ceiling tilesLaying and repairing carpet tilesGeneral building fabric maintenanceYou will also be responsible for:Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with SLAs, KPIs, and CPIsIdentifying and reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions immediatelyOrdering materials and services through the company ordering systemUpdating job sheets and maintenance records to ensure accurate completion of worksMaintaining high Health & Safety standards and complying with all HSSE policiesEnsuring PPE and tools are kept safe, secure, and in good working orderWorking alongside and monitoring subcontractors during service visits when requiredRequirements Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenanceStrong carpentry and general building fabric maintenance skillsProfessional, reliable, and customer-focused approachAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProactive attitude with the initiative to identify and complete work without constant supervisionCity & Guilds or NVQ in Carpentry, Joinery, Building Construction, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (desirable but not essential)Salary & Benefits £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Overtime opportunities availablePrivate healthcareOngoing training and professional developmentLong-term career progression within a growing and well-established businessCompany pensionHoliday allowanceOpportunity to work within a supportive and professional team on a prestigious commercial contractTPBN1_UKTJ
