Class 1 Night Driver Trunk Run to BirminghamJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves a dedicated nightly trunk run to Birmingham, providing consistent work with a fixed start time of 5:00 PM .The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while ensuring compliance with all road transport regulations and company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete a nightly trunk run to Birmingham.Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on schedule.Comply with drivers hours regulations, tachograph rules, and company policies.Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively at all times.Keep accurate records and complete all required paperwork.RequirementsValid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence .Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.Minimum of 1 year's experience driving 44-tonne articulated lorries.Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation and drivers hours regulations.Excellent timekeeping and reliability.Ability to work independently during night shifts.TPBN1_UKTJ
