Manufacturing Operative - Mechanical Assembly

We are currently Manufacturing Operatives for the Roller Department to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture of components in accordance with drawings and customer specifications.Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pmRate: £12.71Type: Temp ongoingLocation: Lye, DY9Key Responsibilities:Grooving, Tapering, Lagging and Assembly of Roller components in accordance with the drawings and customer specificationsReporting any defective tooling, jigs, machines and fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.Meet or exceed piecework quotas by completing a specific number of units or tasks within a set time frame.Responsibilities are listed in the Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 requirements, which are the inspection, identification, and packaging of company productsResponsibilities as listed in the Health and Safety PolicyMaintaining a high level of housekeepingAssistance in working in other departments when necessaryMaintaining IHASCO training when necessaryRequirements:Previous experience working with a factory setting or engineering environmentReliability and good communication skills.Good attention to detailAbility to troubleshootIdeally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.For more information, please apply with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
