We strongly believe that The Best People Care - and that is exactly what we do.Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a 47-year-old lady in her own home in Thorp.The individual has complex health needs following a brain tumour and stroke, and requires support with PEG feeding, epilepsy management, seizure support, and oral suctioning.This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, skilled, and compassionate care within a home setting, ensuring safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.This role operates on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday), with both day and night shifts available. Shifts are provided in advance and paid weekly.Responsibilities· Deliver person-centred care in line with the individuals care plan· Provide all aspects of personal care with dignity and respect· Support with PEG feeding and PEG care in line with training and protocols· Support safe and effective epilepsy and seizure management, responding promptly to seizure activity· Carry out oral suctioning as required and in line with training· Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling using appropriate equipment· Administer medication in accordance with care plans and clinical guidance· Monitor and report changes in health, behaviour, or condition· Provide emotional reassurance and companionship· Support daily routines, nutrition, hydration, and personal care needs· Maintain accurate records and documentation· Work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of careExperience & Requirements· At least 6 months UK care experience required· Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy and seizure management is essential· Experience with PEG feeding and suctioning is highly desirable/essential depending on competency level· Experience supporting individuals with stroke or neurological conditions is advantageous· Strong observational skills and ability to respond calmly in emergencies· Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care· Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essentialPlease note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.What We Offer· Weekly pay· Comprehensive paid training and competency sign-off· Ongoing clinical support and supervision· Consistent rota provided in advance· Opportunities for career progression within complex care· Supportive and experienced care team· Free on-site parking (where applicable)Additional InformationJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryContract length: 60 monthsWork Location: In person - ThorpTPBN1_UKTJ
