With over 35 years of experience, they support customers across the nuclear, defence, science and advanced manufacturing sectors, delivering complex projects from concept through to completionWe are currently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer / Project Delivery Engineer to join their growing team in Chorley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business offering a permanent role, a 4-day working week and an excellent benefits package.The RoleThis position is predominantly focused on Manufacturing Engineering (approximately 80-90% of the role), with some involvement in low-level Project Engineering and project coordination. You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing activities, driving continuous improvements and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time.Key responsibilities include:- Supporting and improving manufacturing processes- Delivering manufacturing engineering projects from planning through to completion- Managing programmes of work and monitoring project progress- Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects remain on schedule- Progress chasing and coordinating manufacturing activities- Leading and supporting team members where required- Utilising MRP/ERP systems to manage production and manufacturing information- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencyAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:- Previous experience within a Manufacturing Engineering environment- HNC/HND (minimum) in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline- Experience managing or leading people- Experience using MRP/ERP systems (Business Central experience would be advantageous)- Experience delivering engineering projects and managing programmes of work- Strong organisational and communication skills- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilitiesWhats on Offer?- £40,000 - £46,000 depending on experience- Permanent staff position- 37-hour working week- Monday to Thursday working pattern (4-day week)- Hybrid working- Healthcare scheme- Salary sacrifice pension with 5% employer contribution- Life assurance (3x salary)- 185 hours annual leave plus applicable bank holidays- Free onsite parkingIf youre looking for a role where you can make a real impact while enjoying an excellent work-life balance, wed love to hear from you.Apply today to find out more.TPBN1_UKTJ
