2nd Fix Carpenter

A leader in the provision of fire protection services and works within large residential contracts and other public sector projects are currently looking for experienced 2nd fix and fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on domestic projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. Both fire rated and non fire rated door work avaialable. The works will be based in East London o n a single site near Stratford (longer work may be offered if open to other sites after this location is complete).The successful candidate will have:At least two years experience working with fire doors (preferred)A strong background in carpentry and joineryExcellent technical knowledge of fire door complianceNVQ or equivalent in carpentryExperience installing fire doors and framesExperience upgrading and remediating existing doors and framesExperience working on social housing FRA contractsOwn van/transport to carry materialsRoles and responsibilitiesInstalling and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doorsComplete works in line with the manufactures specificationDocument works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accuratelyProblem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the workLiaise with customers and members of the general publicWhat's on offer?D oor installations and skirting work on a large apartment block in East LondonSelf-employed works on a long term CIS basis with the potential to go direct with the client after a qualifying period£230.00 per day based on 8 hrs workedThese vacancies are potentially for an immediate start and are long term positions for the right candidates.If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your application by applying via this advert and one of the ProGroup team will be in contact.TPBN1_UKTJ
