Lightning Protection EngineerLocation: LondonSalary: £38,000 £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lightning Protection Engineer to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of lightning protection and earthing systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites.This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall lightning protection systems in accordance with BS EN 62305 and relevant standardsCarry out testing, inspection, and certification of lightning protection and earthing systemsDiagnose faults and carry out remedial works where requiredRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsComplete site reports, test results, and certification documentation accuratelyLiaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other contractorsEnsure all works are completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulationsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)RequirementsProven experience as a Lightning Protection Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of BS EN 62305 and earthing systemsNVQ Level 2/3 in Lightning Protection, Electrical Installation, or equivalent (preferred)ECS/CSCS card (essential)18th Edition (desirable but not essential)Full UK driving licenceAbility to work at height and across multiple sitesGood written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary of £38,000 £42,000Overtime opportunitiesCompany vehicle and fuel cardTools and PPE providedPension schemeOngoing training and career development opportunitiesStable workload across London and surrounding areasTPBN1_UKTJ
