Platform EngineerInside IR35 contract - 500 -525 a day2 x a month on site in Telford6 Month + contractWe are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the development, deployment and operation of cloud-native applications and platforms within an AWS environment.Key Responsibilities* Build, maintain and support Kubernetes-based platforms.* Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment and lifecycle management.* Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.* Support the containerisation and deployment of applications.* Work closely with engineering teams delivering Java-based microservices.* Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability solutions.* Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues across multiple environments.Essential Skills* Kubernetes* Helm (strong commercial experience required)* AWS* GitLab CI/CD Pipelines* Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)* Microservices architecture and deployment* Observability, monitoring and logging* Experience supporting engineering teams delivering Java applicationsDesirable Skills* MongoDB* Terraform* Public Sector or Government experienceTPBN1_UKTJ
