Shift Engineer Fenchurch Street, London Location: Fenchurch Street, LondonSalary: Up to £55,000 per annum + AP Bonus + Performance BonusShift Pattern: Continental Days (7:00am 7:00pm)We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial skyscraper in the heart of Fenchurch Street, London.This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a landmark building, delivering first-class maintenance across a high-profile commercial property.We are keen to hear from engineers who are either electrically or mechanically biased with strong building services experience.The Role As an Engineering Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the building's landlord services, ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standard. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance while ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Maintain and operate landlord building services and associated plant.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance requirements.Complete maintenance records and update the CAFM system accurately.Liaise with contractors and the site management team where required.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Candidate Requirements Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).Experience working within commercial building services.Electrical or mechanical bias with strong fault-finding ability.Good knowledge of HVAC, pumps, motors, electrical systems, BMS and general building services plant.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.Ability to work effectively within a shift team.What's on Offer Salary of up to £55,000 per annum.AP (Authorised Person) Bonus.Performance Bonus.Continental day shifts (7:00am 7:00pm).Opportunity to work in one of London's most prestigious commercial skyscrapers.Ongoing training and career development.Stable, long-term career with an established facilities management provider.If you're an experienced electrical or mechanical maintenance engineer looking to join a flagship commercial site in the City of London, we'd love to hear from you.
