At Panda, were looking for a highly organised Logistics Coordinator to support our UK Bulk Haulage operation.This is a key role within the transport team, helping to keep fleet activity running smoothly, supporting vehicle planning, maintaining accurate records and ensuring strong communication across the driving team.The Logistics Coordinator role would suit someone with strong administration skills, good attention to detail and an interest in transport, logistics or fleet operations.The RoleAs Logistics Coordinator, youll provide day-to-day support to transport operations, helping to improve efficiency, manage key records and support the smooth running of fleet activity.Youll work closely with the Fleet Manager, drivers and internal teams to track vehicle movements, support planning, manage transport information and help ensure operational requirements are met.This role will also support fleet planning when operational demand is high, helping make sure vehicles, drivers and resources are coordinated effectively.What Youll Be DoingYoull be responsible for:Providing administrative support to transport operationsProducing daily transport plans in line with customer orders and expectationsSupporting vehicle planning, routing and fleet utilisationTracking and logging vehicle movements, downtime and utilisationLogging vehicle bottlenecks, times and registrations to support claims and disputesMonitoring vehicle sales, VORs and driver availability to maintain clear operational oversightManaging records for vehicle inspections, MOTs and servicing schedulesAssisting with vehicle and trailer defect management through to compliant close outBooking jobs onto the group weighbridge softwareHelping compile wage information and holiday bookingsSupporting invoice management and cost trackingEnsuring effective communication across the driving teamEnsuring drivers hours and transport regulations are being followedProviding telephone cover during key meetings and training sessionsLiaising with staff and internal departments to provide accurate informationSupporting general problem-solving across the departmentAssisting with other duties within the scope of the transport functionAbout YouWere looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy transport environment.Youll bring:Strong organisational and administrative skillsGood attention to detail and accuracyExperience in transport, logistics or fleet administration, ideally but not essentialThe ability to track and log vehicle movements accuratelyGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant business systemsStrong IT literacy and confidence working with dataThe ability to understand and use data to identify improvement opportunitiesA proactive approach with the ability to self-manageClear communication skills and confidence working with people at all levelsThe ability to adapt in a fast-paced operational environmentKnowledge and QualificationsA good understanding of transport and logistics operations would be advantageous, along with knowledge of:Vehicle maintenance schedulesTransport administrationInvoicing processesRegulatory documentationLegal and compliance requirements within transport operationsA Transport Manager CPC or Professional CPC qualification would be advantageous, although training may be offered if required.Why Join Us?This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in transport and logistics within a busy operational environment.As a Logistics Coordinator at Panda, youll play an important part in keeping our fleet operation organised, compliant and efficient, while supporting a team that helps deliver essential services every day.About Us We are Panda.
