We're looking for a Transport Operations Administrator to join our expanding team in Ipswich. The Role As a Transport Operations Administrator, you'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day transport operation by: * Managing transport bookings and maintaining accurate job records * Speaking with customers to process bookings, provide updates, and answer enquiries * Supporting the planning and scheduling of vehicles and drivers * Preparing, checking, and maintaining transport and compliance documentation, including PODs and driver paperwork * Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to keep operations running efficiently * Providing general administrative support to the Transport team * Ensuring a high level of customer service at all times About You We're looking for someone who is: * Experienced within an administration, transport, or logistics environment * Confident communicating with customers over the phone and via email * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly * Computer literate with good IT skills * Flexible to work between our operating hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm on a rotating shift pattern Desirable * Experience using transport or warehouse management systems * Knowledge of transport compliance and logistics documentation Working Hours During your first 6-8 weeks, you'll work 08:30-17:00 while completing your training. Following this, you'll move onto a 3-week rotating shift pattern: * 07:00-16:00 * 08:00-17:00 * 09:00-18:00
