\nThe Banking Legal Counsel will be:

- Lead and support lending and bridge finance transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and executing finance documentation, funding arrangements, and short-term lending products. \n
- Provide commercially focused legal advice, identifying and managing legal, regulatory, and transactional risks across lending activities. \n
- Develop and maintain lending documentation, precedents, legal processes, governance frameworks, and best practices. \n
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Investment, Underwriting, Credit, Operations, and Legal) and external stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction delivery and strong stakeholder relationships. \n
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously, delivering high-quality, accurate legal support and service. \n

Profile
\nThe Banking Legal Counsel should be:
\n- \n
- A solicitor or equivalent with 4+ years' PQE gained in banking, finance, secured lending or real estate finance. \n
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating finance documentation and transactional agreements. \n
- Knowledgeable in bridge lending, secured lending structures and real estate finance transactions. \n
- Able to manage matters independently while effectively engaging with a range of stakeholders. \n
- Commercially minded with strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills. \n
- Experienced in private practice, in-house, or another relevant legal environment. \n
Job Offer
