Java Developer£425 per day | 6 months | Swansea (2 Days Per Week Onsite)We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation programme within the public sector .This role will involve developing and enhancing modern, scalable applications using Java and Spring-based technologies within an Agile delivery environment. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support critical public services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain Java-based applicationsBuild and support microservices architecturesDevelop RESTful APIs and Back End servicesCollaborate with architects, developers, testers and product teamsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvementProduce clean, maintainable and well-tested codeTroubleshoot and resolve application issuesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong commercial experience with Java developmentExperience with Spring Boot and the wider Spring ecosystemProven experience building Microservices architecturesExperience developing and consuming REST APIsUnderstanding of software design principles and best practicesExperience working within Agile teamsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsIf you have strong Java, Spring Boot and Microservices experience and are looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
