To learn more about the business, click here .Can you say yes?...Do you treat your colleagues with respect?Do you act with safety as a priority?Do you enjoying sharing your knowledge and experience with others?Do you have enjoy working in a busy Engineering environment?As a Mechanical Craftsman , you will maximise the operating efficiency of the plant whilst maintaining plant assets.What youll be doingBe responsible for all Mechanical Maintenance activities in a busy 24/7 production facility. Provide maintenance service for all process and ancillary support equipment and services, in order to maximize asset availability and production capability.The successful candidate should have Safety First ethic and follow all safe working procedures (Risk assessment, LOTOTO, Permits etc.) to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.Co-ordinate the maintenance activities within a specified area of the plantWork in close liaison with managers.Train, guide and develop the team, with a specific eye on apprentice developmentAllocate parts and prioritise work to maximize effectiveness of engineering resources.Assists Engineering Manager in the control of outside contractors introduced into the area (e.g. shutdown periods, development projects, major repair projects), to meet specific work requirements.Responsible for regular testing and maintenance of all Mechanical services and associated standby equipment providing Process and Plant Protection.Improve the net operating efficiency of the designated area of the plant.Proactive approach to spare part asset management.Responsible for the implementation and development of mechanical maintenance routines for the designated areas.Generate and implement innovations in the area (where applicable) and actively engage in plant C.I initiativesMaintain a high standard of housekeeping in operational areasWhat wed love for you to have:We are interested in you as a person, your attitude, behaviours, and values.
