Teamwork Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Deputy General Manager- Wholesale to support the leadership and day-to-day operation of a busy wholesale, retail, or distribution depot.This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, team performance, customer service, and depot standards. You will take full ownership of depot operations in the absence of the General Manager and play a key role in developing a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team ManagementSupport and deputise for the General ManagerLead, motivate, and develop supervisors and operational teamsManage performance and address operational challengesDrive engagement, accountability, and teamworkDepot OperationsOversee daily opening and closing of the depotPlan resources effectively to maximise productivityEnsure operational standards are maintained throughout the siteMonitor workload and adapt staffing levels to meet business demandsCustomer & Commercial FocusDeliver excellent customer service standardsEnsure promotional activity is launched and executed successfullySupport operational performance and commercial objectivesPerformance & ComplianceMonitor depot standards, cleanliness, stock presentation, and safetyEnsure accurate price checks, gap scanning, and operational controlsMaintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customersWhat We're Looking For? Previous experience in wholesale environment as a management team? Experience working in fast-paced warehouse, wholesale, retail, or distribution environments? Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities? Ability to make decisions confidently and work under pressure?
