Area Sales Manager - Heavy EquipmentLocation: Based in North Oxfordshire and NorthamptonSalary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!Contract: Full time, PermanentDunwall are proud to be representing a leading organisation within the Agricultural Machinery sector in the search for an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover North Oxfordshire and Northampton!You will plan and carry out all sales activities within your assigned territory, developing and extending a close working relationship with customers and suppliers.Your responsibility will include ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the quality of the sale and service we deliver.You will be achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration with an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the Company's products and/or related services.As our Area Sales Manager you will:Generate and qualify sales leadsPrepare sales action plans and schedulesMake sales calls and visits to new and existing customersDevelop and make presentations to current and potential customersMaintain sales activity records and reports of customer interactionsDevelop a technical understanding of the productsRespond promptly to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in personEnsure customer service satisfaction and good relationshipsFollow up on sales activityQuality checks on product and service deliveryMonitor and report on sales activities and follow up for managementConduct market research where appropriateManage and attend presentations, shows and other events as requiredMonitor competitors, market conditions and product developmentMaintain and develop the customers databaseEnter on a regular basis all relevant information and actions within the company's CRM systemEffectively use the outlook calendar for all planned events, meetings, appointments etcIn order to be successful in this role you should have:Ability to undertake research and then communicate findings in an appropriate, written formAble to demonstrate an understanding of technical information, with the ability to convey this information to both a technical and non-technical audienceAbility to work independently and autonomouslyExperience in the use of Microsoft applications, CRM systems and the internet as a research toolKnowledge of basic business principles and administration proceduresExperience in a business-to-consumer sales environmentProven experience in the Agricultural Machinery industryRelevant product and market knowledgePersonable and clearly extrovertedNaturally inquisitive and interested, offering solutions to customersCollaborative but action-oriented approach with high comfort operating autonomouslyDeveloped business acumen and communication skillsPassion for making a difference within the Agricultural sectorProven ability to achieve sales targetsPlanning, organising and administeringPersuasiveness and negotiatingAdaptability and initiativePresentableFull and valid driving licenceIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on APPLY today!TPBN1_UKTJ
