Alongside a competitive salary on offer is an enhanced support package:Bonus SchemeEnhanced pensionLife assurance (x3)Private healthcareOption to purchase additional annual leave days (up to 2 working weeks)Ongoing training and development programsAs a Hygiene Manager your key responsibilities include:Lead, organise and manage the Night Hygiene Team to ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to required standardsEnsure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, COSHH and internal quality proceduresCarry out audits and end-of-shift checks to ensure the site is ready for productionManage hygiene budgets and control stock levels of cleaning materials and PPEWork closely with engineering to support maintenance and minimise disruption to hygiene schedulesLead, coach and develop the hygiene team, addressing performance, training and engagementManage absence, conduct return-to-work interviews and support HR processes where requiredTake ownership of recruitment and on-boarding within the hygiene teamSupport site audits and ensure corrective actions are completed within agreed timescalesCollaborate cross-functionally to drive hygiene standards and food safety culture across siteWhat You'll Bring:Experience within a food manufacturing environment (minimum 3 years preferred)Proven experience leading or supervising hygiene teamsStrong knowledge of HACCP and COSHHRelevant qualifications (Level 3 Food Safety, IOSH or equivalent desirable)Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsStrong organisational skills and ability to work under pressureExcellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approachWhat You'll Get:Salary up to £44,750 plus bonus schemeLife assurance (time annual salary)Employee assistance programme & healthcare supportGenerous annual leave plus option to purchase additional daysAccess to discounts, well being initiatives and financial support schemesOngoing training and development, including funded qualificationsRecognition schemes and employee engagement initiativesApply TODAY to express an interest.
