With over 500 staff working with approximately 150 clients, we are a values-led organisation operating in a highly regulated sector where the quality of our people directly shapes the quality of our care.The RoleWe are looking for a professional, proactive HR Advisor to work with our established HR Team to provide practical, customer-focused HR support across the company. Reporting to the HR Business Partners, you will advise our Client Relations Managers on a broad range of employee relations, recruitment, policy, and compliance matters, always working in line with employment law and healthcare sector standards.You will play a key role in promoting a positive workplace culture, supporting operational effectiveness, and helping Solo Support Services deliver high-quality care through sound people practice. The role is a full-time role based at Head OfficeKey ResponsibilitiesEmployee RelationsProvide timely, practical advice across the full range of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and capability, flexible working requests, and wellbeing concernsSupport and attend formal meetings, hearings, and investigationsPrepare HR documentation, including letters, meeting outcomes, and case recordsEnsure employee relations cases are managed consistently, fairly, and in line with company policy and employment lawHR OperationsMaintain accurate employee records and HR systemsProduce HR reports and management information, including absence, turnover, and workforce metrics as directed by your line managerSupport organisational change processes, including restructures, redundancy and TUPE including harmonisation of terms.Policy & ComplianceEnsure HR practice complies with UK employment legislation and healthcare regulationsSupport the implementation and review of HR policies and proceduresPromote equality, diversity, and inclusion across Solo Support ServicesSupport audits and compliance activities relating to HR documentation and workforce standardsAbout YouEssentialCIPD Level 5 qualified essentialPrevious experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role, managing a full caseload of employee relations cases independently, end-to-end up to and including dismissalStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceExperience working in a regulated or fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with managers and employeesSound judgement, problem-solving ability, and strong attention to detailDiscretion in handling confidential and sensitive informationStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systemsDesirableExperience within healthcare, private healthcare, social care, or regulated servicesKnowledge of safer recruitment and compliance requirementsWhat We OfferA varied generalist role in a values-led specialist care organisationThe opportunity to develop within a growing People functionA culture where good people practice genuinely supports the quality of care we deliverCompetitive salary and benefits packageSafeguardingSolo Support Services is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support.
