Finance Project LeadSouth Birmingham (Hybrid Working)6 Month Fixed Term Contract£40,000 - £50,000We are currently recruiting for a Finance Project Lead to join a growing business based in South Birmingham on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Manager, AP Manager or an all-round Transactional Finance Manager, with Finance Systems or process improvement experience that enjoys project-based work. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving processes, implementing new ways of working and ensuring finance systems and projects are delivered successfully.The role will involve:Leading the implementation of a system upgrade and utilising all the tools/add ons.Supporting wider finance transformation and business improvement projectsReviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencyResearching and implementing best practice ways of working across the finance functionMonitoring project progress, identifying risks and ensuring successful deliveryIdeally you will:Have experience leading finance projects, including systems implementations, automations and process improvementDemonstrate strong project management and stakeholder management skillsBe comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering projects to deadlinesPossess excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solvingIn return you will:Lead a high-profile finance systems implementation projectGain exposure to multiple transformation and improvement initiativesWork closely with senior stakeholders across the businessEnjoy a varied role combining project management, finance and process improvementIf you enjoy improving processes, delivering projects and making a genuine impact within a finance function, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
