Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer Continental Days & Nights - Building Services London Bridge Up to £58,000 + PackageAn exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in the heart of London Bridge has arisen!Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for both an Electrical & Mechanical Shift Engineer to work as part of an engineering team and be based across an iconic site in London Bridge. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building environment, have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance with a proven track record in commercial building services.This position would be ideal for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer currently in a similar position, in return the company are offering a competitive salary up to £58,000 with a potential route into further career progression.Key duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out all aspects of Electrical & mechanical maintenance activities across all plant and systemsEnsure that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedulesBMS System - MonitorChanging BallastControl PanelsEmergency lighting testsLighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be madeEnsure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable orderHands-on PPM and reactive maintenanceCommercial heating systemsAHUs, FCUs, and associated HVAC equipment.Carry out system fault-finding and diagnosticsLiaise directly with the client's estates teams to ensure maintenance activities are alignedMonitor mechanical plantPumps, Motors, Seals, BearingsAir Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etcMonitor the BMS systemsSupervise contractors and assist with minor project works or installationsMaintain clear documentation, logbooks, and recordsHours of Work & Package InfoShift Engineer Continental Shift Pattern Days & NightsBasic Salary of up to £58,00020 Shift days holidayRequirementsElectrical or Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3TPBN1_UKTJ
