Warehouse Cleaner

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners to work at a large distribution site, based in BasildonJob PurposeTo maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic warehouse environment by carrying out routine cleaning tasks and supporting general housekeeping duties to meet health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, and clean warehouse floors, aisles, and work areasRemove waste, debris, and packaging materials from designated areasClean and sanitise equipment, surfaces, and communal areas (e.g., break rooms, toilets)Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materialsReport hazards, spills, or maintenance issues to supervisorsAssist with deep cleaning tasks as requiredFollow health and safety procedures at all timesUse cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsiblySupport general warehouse housekeeping to maintain an organised environmentKey Skills and RequirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detailPhysical fitness (role may involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods)Basic understanding of health and safety regulationsReliable, punctual, and hardworkingPrevious cleaning or warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)Working ConditionsBased in a warehouse environment (may be cold, dusty, or noisy)May involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, or early morningsUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be requiredShifts Available6am-2pm 5 days over 72pm-10pm 5 days over 710pm-6am 5 nights over 7Salary£12.71 per hour for the AM & PM shifts or £13.71 per hour for the Night Shift5 months workJDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.JDRNorthWestWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
