Hardware Engineer (Electronics)Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + BenefitsThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to join a growing engineering team in Nottingham.You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electronic hardware solutions from initial concept through to production. Working alongside hardware and software engineers, you will contribute to a range of embedded product development projects and work directly with customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic hardware from specification through to production.Create schematics and support multi-layer PCB design.Prototype, test and debug hardware using laboratory equipment.Work with embedded systems including MCUs, MPUs, sensors, RF, power electronics and digital electronics.Support hardware validation, compliance testing and product development activities.Apply best practices including DFM, DFT and EMC considerations.Communicate technical updates and solutions with customers and internal teams.RequirementsDegree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.4+ years' experience in hardware/electronics design.Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.Experience with PCB design and schematic capture.Hands-on experience testing and debugging electronic hardware.Experience with embedded systems and mixed-signal designs.Experience with Altium Designer is preferred (other PCB design tools considered).Desirable SkillsIoT and connected device experience.RF/wireless electronics experience.FPGA or advanced digital design experience.Experience working in a consultancy or customer-facing engineering environment.BenefitsSalary: £45,000 – £55,000Hybrid working (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Private healthcarePension and life assuranceOpportunity to work on varied and technically challenging electronics projectsPlease not: Sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.If your interested or would like to discuss further, please click apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
