Registered manager-mental health and Learning disabilitiesAlfreton, DerbyshireGood CQC ratedSmall service40 hours per week£60k plus benefitsWe are seeking a Registered Manager to lead a residential mental health service in Alfreton Derbyshire. This role requires strong leadership, a calm and values-driven approach, and a clear commitment to safeguarding, person-centred practice, and high-quality outcomes for people with complex needs, including predominantly Mental Health with some Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours and brain injuries.The home has an excellent reputation locally and promotes strong links with the local community facilitating people to access local amenities, public transport and education opportunities.The home also has a structured programme to assist individuals back to work through supported commercial activities within the home and at other locations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the residential service in Derbyshire, ensuring safe, effective and compliant care deliveryLead and develop staff to deliver consistent support, ensuring dignity, choice and independence are at the centre of daily practiceManage service quality, performance, risk and continuous improvement, including audit and action planningPromote positive outcomes by supporting individuals to live lifestyles of their choosingMaintain strong safeguarding procedures and ensure reporting, documentation and incident management meet legislative and best-practice expectationsEnsure compliance with CQC legislation, updates, changes and relevant best practiceWhat Were Looking ForExperience in a leadership role within residential care, ideally mental health servicesDemonstrable experience managing people, service delivery and quality standards, including working with Learning DisabilitiesStrong understanding of safeguarding and the principles of safe, person-centred supportExcellent organisational skills, time management, and the ability to work on your own initiativeHolds or is working towards a Level 4 or 5 qualification relevant to registered management in residential careProven commitment to positive values and promoting independence, choice and respectQualifications & ComplianceCQC awareness and commitment to staying current with legislation, guidance, and best practicesLevel 4 or 5 qualification, or progress towards this requirementTPBN1_UKTJ
