Wind Turbine Inspection Technician (Offshore - Contract)Job Title: Wind Turbine Inspection TechnicianEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: UK Offshore Sites (Nationwide Travel)Salary: £240 - £340/ Day DOEJob Type: ContractReporting To: Operations ManagerRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Inspection Technician to join our offshore inspection team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will carry out detailed inspections of onshore wind turbines to assess integrity, mechanical condition, and safety compliance.This role is ideal for a technician with proven wind industry experience, strong inspection capability, and a safety-first approach.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and reactive inspections of onshore wind turbinesCarry out visual and close-up inspections of service lifts, cranes, pressure systems and turbine mounted safety equipmentIdentify and assess defects and report findingsAccurately record inspection findings using digital reporting systemsCapture photographic evidence and measurements where requiredWork in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and UKAS inspection body requirementsEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all timesParticipate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefingsCommunicate inspection findings clearly to supervisors, engineers, and clientsMaintain inspection tools, PPE, and certificationsRequired Experience & QualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in onshore wind turbine inspectionBtec Level 3 Qualification in a Mechanical/ Engineering related field (or equivalent)Sound knowledge of wind turbine components and inspection techniques to LOLLER, PUWER & PSSR RegulationsExperience working at heightValid GWO certifications (or willingness to maintain):Working at HeightsFirst AidManual HandlingFire AwarenessSea SurvivalMedical/ Fitness to Work Certificate (incl Chester Step)Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracyFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel to onshore sites and work away from home as requiredDesirable (but not essential)Advanced First AidCompetent/ Authorised Technician CertificationCurrent Lift/ Crane Maintenance CertificationPSSR Inspection experience or certificationMechanical or electrical backgroundLEEA Membership (or working towards)Experience with digital inspection or asset management systemsPersonal AttributesStrong safety culture and risk awarenessPhysically fit and comfortable working at height and outdoorsProfessional, reliable, and self-motivatedAble to work independently and as part of a teamClear communicator with good time-management skillsWhat We Offer12 Months/ Year Work AvailabilityOvertime and travel allowancesStable, full-time employment in a growing renewable industryTPBN1_UKTJ
