Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager Location: Manchester (site visits twice per week), North West projects, Hybrid Working (Home Based with one day every two weeks in Leeds) Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join our growing team and support the delivery of works for a newly secured client. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both the commercial and operational aspects of construction and wants to play a key role in developing a long-term client relationship. The role will primarily focus on commercial cost management, with the opportunity to become more involved in project and contract management as the role develops. Key Responsibilities * Manage subcontractor valuations and payment applications. * Prepare and submit client valuations and invoices. * Monitor project costs and ensure commercial performance is maintained. * Assist with cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control. * Attend the client's site in Manchester approximately twice per week. * Support the successful delivery of projects across the North West. * Prepare client progress reports and programme updates. * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects run efficiently. * Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities. * Assist with contract administration and project documentation. Requirements * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, or Contracts Manager. * Strong understanding of subcontractor valuations, invoicing, and cost control. * Good commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail. * Experience producing progress reports and monitoring project programmes is desirable. * Strong communication and client-facing skills. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Willingness to travel to Manchester twice per week and work across North West projects.
