This is an ideal role for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to legal professionals. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department, delivering excellent client service, maintaining accurate records and assisting with case management. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills, a professional approach and the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.Duties & Responsibilities\n

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Dispute Resolution team.
  • \n
  • Manage new client enquiries, complete conflict checks and allocate enquiries appropriately.
  • \n
  • Communicate professionally with clients by telephone, email and in person, providing updates and arranging appointments.
  • \n
  • Prepare legal documents, court bundles and correspondence as instructed by fee earners.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate case files, including opening and closing matters using the case management system.
  • \n
  • Assist with diary management, billing support and the preparation of client cost schedules.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining strict client confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures.

  • Attend departmental and firm-wide meetings and provide general administrative support as required.
  • \n
Education & Skills Required\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a strong administrative support role.
  • \n
  • Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • \n
  • Experience using a legal case management system would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional and positive approach.
  • \n
  • Ability to work collaboratively, use initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times.
