Strategic Compliance Manager, Leicester (Hybrid 2 days office based)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Compliance Manager to join a well-established insurance broking business, based in Leicester.

This is a genuinely different type of compliance role, built around strategic projects rather than the more typical monitoring or advisory remit, offering broad exposure to growth and change across the business.

The role:

• Supporting strategic projects across the business, including mergers and acquisitions
\n
• Working closely with newly acquired businesses to support their integration into the group from a compliance perspective
\n
• Driving forward the completion of agreed compliance integration actions, through direct activity or stakeholder management, to help ensure all businesses meet common standards
\n
• Reviewing compliance policies and procedures, assessing their appropriateness and benchmarking against regulatory expectations where required
\n
• Broad exposure across multiple business areas, working alongside senior stakeholders on compliance matters tied to growth and change
\n

About you:

\n
• Strong compliance background within insurance broking
\n
• Experience of first line of defence (1LoD) would be ideal, though not essential
\n
• Strong working knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to insurance intermediaries
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice to non-compliance stakeholders
\n
