\nRole Responsibilities
\nThe Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer will be based in the City of London and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property matters. Matters will be mainly residential with some commercial cases, with new build properties forming a significant part of the caseload. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:

- Providing quotes for new prospective clients \n
- Handling all compliance and onboarding elements for new client matters \n
- Dealing with administrative and general tasks arising from property transactions including preparation of invoices, correspondence with clients, drafting reports, and finalising completion payments \n
- Managing your own caseload as efficiently and profitably as possible \n
- Reporting progress to clients in a timely and succinct manner \n
- Assisting other members of the Sevenoaks property team during annual leave \n
- Seeking to attract new clients, referrers, and business for the firm and department \n
- Supporting the development of the property department \n
- Preparing and attending marketing events and drafting articles or presentations for the local community and business network \n
- Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as requested by senior management \n
Person Specification
\nThe successful Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer in the City of London, will have previous experience managing a residential property caseload with appropriate supervision and will be confident delivering a high standard of client care.
\nIn addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

- Qualified Conveyancer with 2+ years PQE – Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer \n
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing matters \n
- Commercial property experience would be beneficial however is not essential \n
- Experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity \n
- New build property experience would be advantageous \n
- The ability to organise your own workload with minimal supervision \n
- Good time management and a proactive approach to progressing matters \n
- Sound judgement and decision making when dealing with issues arising on files \n
- The ability to identify problems and determine an appropriate course of action \n
- A collaborative and supportive approach to working within a team \n
