Virtualisation Engineer (VMware/vSphere/Horizon) SC Cleared Nottingham (Inside IR35) | On site 5 days | Contract to 31 March 2027 + likely extensionA central government client is looking for an experienced Virtualisation Engineer to join an established infrastructure team in Nottingham . This is a long-standing programme so its a genuinely stable, long-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension (612 months beyond March 2027).Youll be project-focused , building and maintaining the virtualisation estate, with some BAU and technical support as required. Youll need to be hands-on and confident owning the platform end to end.EssentialExpert-level VMware vSphere, ESXi and Horizon VDI (build, upgrade, management)Windows Server 2012(R2), 2016 and 2019HPE Servers and data centre managementActive Directory and core networkingComfortable joining an on-call rota (1 week in 4)Desirable: SCCM, SynergyEssential please read:Active SC Clearance.
