Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we act as an extension of Rolls-Royces recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.We are looking for a Skilled Inspector for a 12-month contract based in Derby on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs. Please note that these roles are going to be on a 2 shift pattern in which you will work on weekly rotating early and lates (12 hour shifts).As a Skilled Inspector, you will be:Carrying out the inspection of aerospace engine components through the inward receiving process, ensuring all parts meet required standards and specifications.Verifying component documentation and accurately processing parts through SAP before releasing them into the workshop environment.Performing detailed visual inspections of engine components to identify defects, damage, or non-conformances.Using a range of measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometres and gauges, to assess component serviceability.Working in compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements to ensure the highest standards are maintained.Experience and qualifications required:SAP experience is essential and is the highest-priority requirement for this position.A recognised time-served apprenticeship and Level 3 qualification within a relevant engineering discipline are essential.Previous inspection experience is required, ideally within aerospace, although candidates from other engineering or machining backgrounds will also be considered.Experience using inspection and measurement equipment, including verniers, micrometres and gauges.Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn component inspection processes through a structured training programme.Next steps:We will only accept workers operating via a PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.TPBN1_UKTJ
