Technical Architect (Automation & AI)We're looking for a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across automation and AI programmes. This role is architecture-first -you'll define technical strategy, shape future-state systems, and ensure alignment with business goals and standards, with automation as a key supporting capability.What You'll Be DoingLead high-level technical architecture across automation and AI initiativesDefine scalable architectures, data flows, and system integrationsShape and influence technical strategy aligned to business objectivesDesign robust, future-proof solutions that adapt to evolving needsEvaluate emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-conceptsSupport full lifecycle delivery from concept through to implementationCollaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersIdentify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and constraintsDrive operational efficiency, automation, and reduction of technical debtSupport M&A activity through technical due diligence and integrationWhat You'll BringProven experience as a Technical Architect across diverse technology domainsStrong knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Archimate, ITIL, Prince2Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skillsExperience in matrixed, fast-paced delivery environmentsStrong organisational and project leadership capabilityHands-on exposure to automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)Understanding of AI technologies , including LLMs, Copilots, and Microsoft AI ecosystemExperience with data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks)Broad enterprise technology background (e.g. ServiceNow, CRM, ERP, cloud, infrastructure)Solid knowledge of Azure and cyber security frameworks (SIEM, XDR, NIST, ISO27001)Additional InformationLocation: Remote, with ~2 days onsite travelRequirement: Must be a sole UK nationalTPBN1_UKTJ
