We strongly believe that “The Best People Care” – and that is exactly what we do.Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a 66-year-old gentleman in his own home in Great Yarmouth .The individual lives with a C3 spinal cord injury and requires support with bowel care, personal care, and daily living activities to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life at home.This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual with a spinal injury, ensuring he can live safely and comfortably in his own environment with the right level of care and support.This role operates on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday) , Shifts are provided in advance and paid weekly.ResponsibilitiesDeliver person-centred care in line with the individual's care planProvide all aspects of personal care with dignity and respectSupport with bowel care procedures in line with training and protocolsAssist with mobility and safe moving and handling using appropriate equipmentSupport with medication administration in accordance with care plansMonitor and report changes in health, wellbeing, or conditionSupport with daily routines including hygiene, dressing, and nutritionProvide emotional support and companionshipAssist with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environmentSupport with accessing the community and attending appointments where requiredMaintain accurate records and documentationWork closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent careExperience & RequirementsAt least 6 months UK care experience requiredExperience supporting individuals with spinal injuries is highly desirableExperience with bowel care is essential or willingness to be trainedStrong communication and observational skillsCalm, patient, and reliable approach to careAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licence is preferred but not essentialPlease note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.What We OfferWeekly payComprehensive paid training and competency sign-offOngoing clinical support and supervisionConsistent rota provided in advanceOpportunities for career progression within complex careSupportive and experienced care teamFree on-site parking (where applicable)Additional InformationJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryContract length: 60 monthsWork Location: In person – Great YarmouthTPBN1_UKTJ
