Social Housing Caretaker & Bulk Collection DriverLocation: Lower Clapton, E5 0HLRate: £17.00 per hourContract: Long-term ongoing workSector: Social HousingWe are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Caretaker & Bulk Collection Driver to join a leading Social Housing provider based in Lower Clapton.This role is split approximately 50% caretaking duties and 50% bulk waste collection/driving duties, making it ideal for a hands-on candidate who enjoys a varied role and working outdoors.Duties IncludeCaretakingKeeping communal areas, estates and external spaces clean and tidyLitter picking and estate inspectionsRemoving fly-tipped waste where requiredReporting repairs, defects and health & safety concernsSupporting the upkeep of social housing estatesBulk Collection & DrivingDriving a Ford Transit tipper vehicle between sitesCollecting and removing bulky household waste itemsLoading and unloading furniture, appliances and general bulky wasteCarrying out vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicleEnsuring collections are completed safely and efficientlyEssential RequirementsFull UK Driving Licence (essential)Previous experience driving vans or light commercial vehiclesPhysically fit and capable of lifting and moving bulky items throughout the working dayReliable and hardworking attitudeGood understanding of health and safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirablePrevious experience within social housing, caretaking, waste collection or estate servicesManual handling trainingLocal knowledge of the areaWhats on Offer£17.00 per hourLong-term ongoing workFull-time hoursOpportunity to work with a well-established Social Housing providerImmediate start availablePlease note: A valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory for this role.
