Job Title: Production / Warehouse ManagerLocation: Corby, NorthamptonshireSalary: Up to £50,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Production / Warehouse Manager to join our growing operation in Corby. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production and warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and operational performance across the site.The successful candidate will be a strong people manager with excellent organisational skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all warehouse and production operations to meet business objectives and customer requirements.Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and production teams to achieve high performance standards.Ensure goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.Monitor production schedules and workflows to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee stock control processes.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.Produce operational reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).Manage staffing levels, training requirements, and performance management activities.Requirements Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, or similar operational management role.Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Licences (essential).Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions under pressure.Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and production processes.Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.Good IT skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.Flexible, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.Desirable Experience managing warehouse and production functions within a manufacturing or distribution environment.Continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).Experience with KPI management and operational reporting.What We Offer Competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum.Permanent, full-time position.Opportunity to lead and develop a successful operational team.Career progression and professional development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Apply Now If you are an experienced Production / Warehouse Manager with valid Reach and Counterbalance licences, a hands-on management style, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
