Job title: Multi Trade OperativeLocation: BedfordshireJob Type: PermanentSalary: £37,440 per annum with a van and fuel card suppliedWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a reputable company that offers a competitive salary and a great benefits package.Working across occupied social housing properties throughout Bedfordshire, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance works while delivering a high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities Carry out fencing repairs and new fence installations.Complete basic brickwork repairs.Undertake painting and decorating works.Perform carpentry repairs, including: Skirting board installation and repairs.Floorboard repairs.Internal door fitting and adjustments.Carry out gutter repairs and general external maintenance.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety regulations.Communicate professionally with tenants and colleagues while providing excellent customer service.Complete relevant job documentation accurately.Requirements Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, property maintenance, or a similar environment.Competent across a range of trade disciplines, particularly carpentry, fencing, decorating, and basic brickwork.Experience working in occupied properties.Full UK driving licence.Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.A positive and professional approach to customer service.Benefits Salary of £37,440 per annum .Company van provided.Fuel card supplied.Paid annual leave.Company pension scheme.Permanent, full-time employment.Opportunity to join a supportive and growing contractor with long-term career prospects.TPBN1_UKTJ
