Retail Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our team, working for a well-known site in Glastonbury!Contract Information:Pay Rate: £16.20 per hour. Our client operates on individual site-based rates.Hours: Part-timeShift Pattern: VariousSIA Licence: SIA Licence (DS or SG) required.Your Time at WorkAs a Retail Security Officer your duties will include:- Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff- Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site- Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems- Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible- Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified- Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures- Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches- Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition- Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayedOur Perfect WorkerIt is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills.
